Don't Fear! Valentine's Day is Near... ft. Reinvention Coach Natasha Marie

Updated: Feb 8, 2021

This is College presents the Millennial Girls Podcast sponsored by Dezo! Dezo is a Spiked Superfruit Water that has ingredients rich in electrolytes, antioxidants, and vitamins blended with gluten-free vodka. It's a delicious drink that is unlike any other we have tried and won't have you feeling gross the next morning!

Valentine's Day can be hard, especially if you're single and seeing all the lovey-dovey couples on social media. So we brought in reinvention coach, Natasha Marie, to help us get ready.

Here are a few tips that stand out!

  • Instead of focusing on being alone for Valentine's Day, call up your friends! Just go out and have fun!

  • Look at the small things if you're on a date or in a relationship! This can be hard because we tend to ignore the red flags. Ask yourself, are they always late? Are they rude to waiters? Do you want that type of person in your life? Is this someone you would be proud to be associated with?

  • It is ok to be in a rut for a day! But, don't let it stay with you for a longer period of time. Take the day to love yourself! Eat that ice cream, watch your video movies, take a long bath, but when you wake up the next morning, keep moving forward!

  • Be honest about what you want. If you want your person to give you chocolates and a stuffed animal for Valentine's, then ask for it! If you say that you don't want gifts, but secretly you're waiting for them to still give you something, you're setting yourself up to be disappointed.

You'll need to take a moment to watch this episode to hear all the advice Natasha gives us! We also talk about our personal dating fails and being stood up. It doesn't matter if you're single, or in a relationship, this is for you!
